Our adventure begins…
My wife and I are on a road trip the next two weeks, a lengthy vacation that will take us to the Rockies, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon. We drove from St. Louis, MO to Breckenridge, CO yesterday and spent all of today roaming in the mountains nearby. The pics below (resized to a quarter of their actual size, so excuse any jaggies) are the best of the lot that we took during our time at Mount Evans and Rocky Mountains National Park. We’re still learning how to use our camera, so some of the shots might get some post-processing. I think I’m going to crop some of the photos differently, also, as our neophyte composition skills are definitely showing. If anyone out there has some recommendations on how they might have shot some of the following pics differently (Danny…I’m looking at you now), we’d appreciate the advice.
We’re heading to Yosemite tomorrow (yes, seventeen hours of driving straight through…ouch). Hopefully I’ll post a more thorough description of our time when we settle in there (read: when I’m less tired than I am now).
